Train Ride to Williamsburg

We loved riding the train to Williamsburg for the day.  We even took a stroll in Colonial Williamsburg.

Our church performed a play called "The News Hour" for Christmas.  It was about reporters telling the story of the birth of Jesus.  

Tim's Guitar Recital

As part of a music program at the school, Tim performed "Sweet Home Alabama". It was a Christmas program... but I do not think he knew any guitar Christmas songs.

Carsten's Pre-K class took a trip to the Swift Creek Mill House. The play was about Drifty the Snowman. They had pizza and oranges afterwards.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas

We went "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" at the Landmark Theatre.  During the first show the power went out and we had to go back to the 8 p.m.  It was a long evening.

Carsten singing at the preschool program. They sang "Be Careful Little Eyes" and "You've Got A Friend In Me". Surprisingly, Carsten actually sang and did the motions with the songs.

Tim and I went away for a long weekend on a cruise to the Bahamas.  We had a great time and there was a storm at sea!  Carsten asks us if he will get to go when he is 5!
