Merry Christmas 2008

Granny and Bapa gave me a wagon.

Carsten really did not want his picture taken with his cousins.

Santa came to our house and left Carsten some toys and other practical items. Grandma Ellen and Cookie came over for lunch and then we went over to my parents house for dinner and more packages.

Tonight before the Christmas Eve service, Carsten put out his reindeer food that Granny gave him. This magic reindeer food will hopefully help Santa find his house. Carsten also thought that he would like to sample what he was leaving!

The Little Shepherd Watching His Flock

Kenbridge had a Children's Christmas Program today and Carsten was a shepherd. We weren't sure he was going to be in it because he has had RSV, the croup and an ear infection. My parents (Granny and Bapa) came to watch him perform.

Carsten, the Christmas Thief

Tonight we were trying to get Carsten to take pictures by the Christmas Tree. Carsten begin to pick the ornaments off the tree! The first picture definitely shows that he was being busted!

Carsten's first visit with Santa

Carsten visited the Santa in Blackstone tonight. It looks like he still needs to warm up to Santa.

A Day of Firsts

Carsten celebrated his first Thanksgiving and he also called 911 by playing with the phone.

Today we played outside for a little while in the leaves. At first, Carsten was not too sure what to think of the leaves. However, he loved being outside.

For the last few weeks Carsten has been taking steps. Now he is walking longer distances.

The Grumpy Pirate

Carsten did not like Halloween night. He was so cranky and fussy tonight. He also decided to have a "trick" for his mom and dad tonight too. While he was grumpy, we still think he is the cutest pirate in the Caribbean!

The Lion King

Over the past few days Carsten has been playing more and more with his lion. He is still taking a few steps and is clapping too. You will also see that I have still not unpacked everything.

New Shoes

Carsten got his first pair of Stride Rites this weekend. He seems to be getting used to them a little bit more every day! He is such a little man.

Carsten's new toy

For a shower gift, I receive a walking lion. Since Carsten has been taking a few steps, we decided to put it together and let Carsten play with it.

We took Carsten to get a fall picture and took along his Halloween costume too. We were both amazed that he wore his hat the entire time.

Pumpkin Patch

Jennifer and Carsten traveled to Amherst, Virginia to get apples. While we were there I saw some photos spots I could not refuse!

First Bath

On January 23rd, Carsten had his first bath. He was a little scared of the bath.

My First Super Bowl
